Move a song up or down by semitones to match your vocal range or your instrument’s tuning, or make a voice deeper or higher. The length stays exactly the same.

There are three related tools so you always get what you mean: Pitch (higher or lower, same speed), Tempo (faster or slower, same pitch) and Speed (both change together, like a record player).

What you get

How to change the pitch of audio

  1. Open your audio.
  2. Choose Pitch.
  3. Set the number of semitones up or down, and preview.
  4. Export.

Tip: Small changes of one or two semitones sound the most natural. Bigger jumps work too, but voices start to sound like a different person.

Questions

Can I change the key of a song?

Yes. Each semitone moves the key by one step. Song tools also lets you play a song in a new key while you practise.

Does it change the speed?

No. Use Speed if you want both to change together.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Clipabay runs inside your browser, so your file is processed on your own computer or phone and never sent to a server.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no account, no trial, no watermark and no limit on how many files you do. Clipabay is kept going by people who choose to buy us a coffee.
