The slowed and reverb sound is simple: play the song a little slower so the pitch drops, then put it in a big room. In Clipabay that’s two effects. Speed sets how slow (around 80% to 85% is the classic sound) and Reverb sets the room size and how much of it you hear.

For sped up, set the speed above 100%. Want it faster without the chipmunk voice? Use Tempo instead, which keeps the pitch.

What you get

How to make a slowed and reverb version of a song

  1. Open a song.
  2. Choose Speed and set it to about 80%.
  3. Add Reverb and turn up the room size.
  4. Export.

Tip: A touch of the Echo effect on top adds to the floaty feel. Keep it subtle.

Questions

Can I make a sped up version?

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no account, no trial, no watermark and no limit on how many files you do. Clipabay is kept going by people who choose to buy us a coffee.
